TORPEDOES SOCCER CLUB RETURN TO PLAY POLICY

(effective June 22, 2020)

New Jersey’s full suspension of youth soccer due to the COVID-19 pandemic will end on 6/22/2020. Torpedoes SC will follow the Phased approach provided below. Torpedoes SC is providing these recommendations in alignment with the direction from the State of New Jersey, USYS, US Club Soccer and its member State associations. Accordingly, the recommendation/guidelines will be implemented over four phases beginning with Phase I on 6/22/2020.

Being mindful that many people involved will be apprehensive of returning to the fields these recommendations are by no meets forcing players, parent/s or coaches to return to play. If a player, parent/s, or coach is not comfortable returning to play – DON’T.  We are respectful of everyone’s feelings; our priority is to provide as safe an environment as possible.

The Club & Coaches is are responsible to create a safe environment. It is then the decision of the Parent and Player as to whether their player/s ‘returns to play’. Any Parent or Player not comfortable with their player/s ‘returning to play’ will be supported.

All returning players will be required to take personal responsibility to adhere to the social distancing requirement/contact guidelines.
